Job Overview:
Scout Library is seeking a passionate and creative individual with a strong background in the Scouting movement to join our team as a YouTube Channel Anchor. The ideal candidate should be a Rajyapuraskar Award holder with experience as a Scout, Guide, Rover, or Ranger. This part-time role involves creating engaging video content using provided materials, including both short clips and longer videos, for our YouTube channel.
Responsibilities:
- Host and anchor videos on various topics related to Scouting, using content provided by the Scout Library team.
- Plan, script, and record at least 3 videos per week, including both shorts and full-length videos.
- Edit videos using a mobile phone to ensure high-quality content with smooth transitions, effects, and sound enhancements.
- Stay updated on trends and popular content formats on YouTube to ensure the channel remains relevant and engaging.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop new content ideas.
Requirements:
- Must be from a Scouting Organization with at least the Rajyapuraskar Award.
- Experience as a Scout, Guide, Rover, or Ranger.
- Proficiency in video editing using mobile apps.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset with a passion for content creation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in hosting or anchoring videos.
- Familiarity with YouTube algorithms and audience engagement strategies.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible hours with the expectation to post at least 3 videos per week.
